The Scripps Howard Foundation says it’s accepting submissions for the annual Scripps Howard Awards.
“The 2015 Scripps Howard Awards is open to journalists and news organizations whose work was distributed by U.S.-based media outlets.” The competition spans platforms by recognizing local television, radio, networks, online media outlets, independent producers and print with 15 categories. There are two additional categories for college journalism and mass communication educators.
The foundation has added two new categories: Top Story of the Year and an Opinion award.
