Sarah Lucero has anchored her last newscast in San Antonio.
“The last 19 years have been the most memorable, pleasurable and exciting years for me and my family,” she said in her final goodbye on Tuesday night’s 10pm newscast.
Lucero has been a mainstay at KENS as the 6 and 10pm anchor for over a decade. Last month TVSpy reported her decision to step down from her role at the CBS affiliate to spend more time with her family.

“I’m going to miss you guys it has been a lot of fun,” Lucero said in the final seconds of the newscast.
