San Diego Promo Manager Bumped Up to Marketing Director

KGTV has promoted Leila Stilwell to marketing director.

Stilwell was promotion manager at the Scripps-owned San Diego ABC affiliate. She started her career as an assistant in the Creative Services department at KSBW in Salinas-Monterey, Calif., before moving to San Diego in 2005.

“Leila Stillwell’s creative talents combined with her analytical mind made it hard to consider anyone outside of these four walls,” said Jeff Block, KGTV vp & divisional gm. “She is the type of person you want on your team and this is her time.”

Stilwell will oversee branidng for KGTV, Azteca San Diego, the station’s website and social media.
