Samantha Cortese will begin co-anchoring the KTLA 4 p.m. newscast starting today.
Cortese worked on the Los Angeles station’s 4 p.m. streaming newscast until it ended last month.
“I’m feeling blessed, humbled, grateful. Matthew 14:31 “…why did you doubt?” she wrote on Instagram. “If you used to stream at 4 p.m., please continue. I can’t promise any Good Boy Breaking alerts or Robot Apocalypse updates, but I’ll try.”

She previously worked at KGUN in Tucson as a morning anchor, and at KESQ and KPSP in Palm Springs as an anchor and reporter.
