Mark S. Allen, entertainment anchor on CBS-owned station KOVR‘s Good Day Sacramento, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

ABC affiliate KXTV reports Mark Allen Stell, who is known on-air as Mark S. Allen, was booked into Placer County Jail on Dec. 4.

A Roseville police officer responded to two different reports from witnesses of someone driving in an erratic manner near Atlantic Street and Interstate 80 just after midnight, according to police records.

The officer located Stell on Bulen Street just off Vernon Street. After an evaluation, Stell was arrested and booked into jail.

Good Day Sacramento’s news director, John Armand, released a statement Thursday afternoon, saying “We are taking the matter very seriously and we are investigating what happened. While that process is ongoing, Mark will not be appearing on our air.”
