Sabirah Rayford Joins Seattle Fox Station as Weekday Anchor

Sabirah Rayford has joined Seattle Fox owned station KCPQ as a weekday evening anchor.

“I’m looking forward to working alongside a group of talented, passionate journalists,” Rayford posted on social media. “While visiting the Emerald City I fell in love with its landscape— the mountains, the waterside and its cultural diversity. The gratitude I feel is indescribable. Thank you to all my wonderful mentors over the years. ‘Nobody knows where they might end up’ — and that’s the beauty of the universe.”

Rayford recently left KPRC in Houston where she worked as a reporter and anchor since September 2021. Before that, she worked at WPTV in West Palm Beach, Fla., and WKYT in Lexington, Ky.
