WOWT has named Rusty Lord its chief meteorologist.
“For the past 8 years, Rusty has delivered his hour-by-hour forecast to our Daybreak viewers helping us all prepare for our day,” said the station. “Rusty is a gifted meteorologist who will continue to keep viewers informed and safe with his evening forecasts every weekday at 5, 6 and 10pm.
Before joining the Omaha NBC affiliate in June 2008, Lord worked at KDLT in Sioux Falls, S.D.
