The Radio Television Digital News Association has announced the winners of the 2016 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards.
Seattle NBC affiliate KING took home nine Murrow Awards in the large market category. The station won for Overall Excellence, Feature Reporting and Investigative Reporting.
In small markets, WISC led the way with eight, winning Overall Excellence, Investigative Reporting and Newscast.

The regional winners automatically move on to the national awards which will be judged in May and announced in June.
