Rosemary Connors has been promoted to weekend morning anchor at WCAU, the NBC owned station in Philadelphia.
Conners joined the station in 2009 as a general assignment reporter. She will continue to report during the week in her new role.
“Rosemary’s depth of experience as a journalist makes her the perfect choice for the anchor desk,” WCAU vice president of news Anzio Williams said in a statement.

Conners replaces Aditi Roy, who left WCAU in February.
