Robin Oguinye Joining Salt Lake City Fox Affiliate as Anchor and Investigative Reporter

Robyn Oguinye is joining Scripps owned Salt Lake City Fox affiliate KSTU as weekday afternoon anchor and consumer investigative reporter.

Oguinye will anchor alongside reporter and anchor Max Roth beginning in January 2023. She will also join KSTU’s investigative unit in a newly created consumer investigative reporter role.

“Robyn’s ability to shine a light on issues in communities she’s served as a journalist and to help bring about change is why she will be a perfect fit to both our growing investigative team here at Fox 13 and our newsroom,” said Stacey Roberts, KSTU news director. “What’s so special about this news team is they care. They work hard to be an advocate when systems break down and to help add depth around issues impacting Utahns. This is also what drives Robyn.”

Oguinye started her career as an anchor-reporter at KIMT in Mason City, Iowa. She’s held anchor-reporter positions at WFRV in Green Bay, Wisc., and most recently at WOAI-KABB TV in San Antonio.
