HLN anchor Robin Meade returned to Chicago last night for the premiere of CNN’s original series CHICAGOLAND. In an interview with TVNewser contributor Alissa Krinksy, Meade talked about her years anchoring at NBC-owned WMAQ.
“I was a whopping 26 when I arrived here and now when I look back, I’m like, ‘Gosh, I was such a baby!’ I thought I was ready for it, but it was the school of hard knocks for a young reporter. But you learn fast. [Chicago] is a place where you gotta learn fast! It’s sink or swim!”
