After three years at Austin CBS affiliate KEYE, reporter Adam Bennett is joining Houston CBS affiliate KHOU, media blogger Mike McGuff reports.
Bennett, who announced the news on his Facebook page on March 31, told his fans that although his new job is a great opportunity, leaving Austin “was still a very difficult decision to make. I will truly miss all of the friends I’ve made here and am grateful to all of you.”
“Adam’s a sharp young man who did some solid work in Austin,” Philip Bruce, KHOU executive news director, told McGuff. “We’re glad to have him on our team.”

Prior to joining KEYE, Bennett was a weekend anchor/producer at KAMR/KCIT in Amarillo.
