
WOFL is leading in the social media ratings race in Orlando thanks to Facebook.
The FOX-owned affiliate surpassed WFTV with a 42.37 share in the past 30 days. In January, TVSpy reported the Cox-owned ABC affiliate held first place.
According to a Share Rocket report, WOFL’s Facebook page was responsible for 93% of engagement in the last 30 days.
WFTV anchor Jorge Esteves was the individual social leader in the market with a 3.18 Share. He averaged more than 465 engagements per post on his Facebook page over the last 30 days.
WESH, the Hearst-owned NBC affiliate led on Twitter with a 36.22 share. WFTV was number one on Instagram in part because of anchor Martha Sugalski. Her posts pulled in a 35.94 share.
