Reno Station Changes Anchors

Reno, Nev. CBS affiliate KTVN has announced an anchor change.

Landon Miller will move off the desk into a reporting role. Taking Miller’s place on the weekday evening newscast starting tonight will be Ryan Canaday (pictured right).

“After putting a lot of thought into this, I’ve realized I’d be happier focusing on more original reporting; telling the stories of our community,” said Miller. “This change will also allow me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Spanish, which is an important personal goal, but hard to achieve with the duties required of a main anchor at 2 News.”

Canaday was the weekend anchor and reporter at the station. He started at KTVN in 2014, shorty after graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno. Miller has also worked at the station since 2014.
