Regan Exits GM Post at Cleveland’s WEWS

Viki Regan is out as general manager of WEWS Channel 5, according to Tim King, vice president of corporate communications at the E.W. Scripps Co., which owns the station. Her departure had been the subject of rumors earlier this week.The station and Regan mutually agreed to part ways, King said in an email.

News director Jill Manuel, whom Regan hiredin 2008 specifically to be her partner in running the station, remains at Channel 5, said a station source who spoke off the record. More…
