After three years with CNBC, reporter Rebecca Jarvis is leaving the business news channel and her next stop may be CBS News. On Wedensday, TVNewser reported that Jarvis, who was a regular presence on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and anchored CNBC’s “Marketwrap,” has left the cable network.

CNBC spokesman Brian Steel confirmed Jarvis’s departure, telling TVNewser, “Rebecca is no longer with CNBC, and we wish her the best.” According to the report, insiders have told TVNewser that Jarvis’s next job may be with CBS News but, as the site notes, it may be a while before viewers see Jarvis on TV as she is likely to be sidelined due to a standard non-compete clause in her contract.

Jarvis is a graduate of the University of Chicago and, before CNBC, she was best known for being a contestant on the fourth season of “The Apprentice.” On the show, she memorably broke her ankle while playing hockey and finished out the TV competition on crutches.
