Police have arrested two men accused of robbing an NBC Bay Area news crew in San Francisco over the weekend.
CBS owned station KPIX reports the robbery happened on Saturday around 6:50 p.m. near the corner of Fifth and Bryant streets.

Three suspects allegedly pulled up in a dark colored Lexus and two then exited and demanded that the victims hand over their camera. The two suspects claimed to have a firearm, simulating a gun with their hands concealed beneath their clothes, police said.
The victims complied and the suspects fled in the Lexus, heading east on the Bay Bridge, according to police.
Moments after the robbery, the victims flagged down officers on motorcycles and reported the robbery. The victims were able to give descriptions of the suspects, as well as provide the suspect vehicle’s license plate number.
Police found the KNTV crew’s camera along with another that had been reported stolen earlier Saturday inside a nearby Honda they connected to the robbery.
TVSpy has previously reported on the dangers faced by Bay Area crews. In 2016, a KNTV photographer was pistol-whipped during a robbery that happened on-air. And in November 2012, KPIX cameraman Greg Welk was beaten and had his camera taken at the end of a live shot for the CBS-owned station.
KNTV told TVSpy the station had no comment.
