Pittsburgh ABC affiliate WTAE is launching a 7 p.m. newscast on a digital subchannel on Monday, February 1.
We understand viewers are constantly looking for news, no matter what time of the day,” said WTAE president and gm Charles W. Wolfertz III. “Our new 7:00 p.m. newscast will give viewers more options to get news and weather information when they want it.”
The show will be anchored by Jackie Cain and chief meteorologist Mike Harvey.

Viewers can find the newscast on thisTV channel 4.2, Comacast Cable channel 204, channel 188 on the Comcast systems formerly owned by Adelphia, Armstrong Utilities channel 90, Atlantic Broadband Uniontown channel 110, Consolidated channel 15 and Verizon FiOS channel 461.
