Pittsburgh Reporter Files Second Lawsuit Against Former Station

Former KDKA reporter Dave Crawley has filed his second lawsuit against the Pittsburgh station.

The 72-year-old alleges he suffered a traumatic brain injury, damaged his diaphragm and had to have his spleen removed after riding a homemade flying machine off a 22 foot pier in 2017 while covering a story.

According to the Pittsburgh Patch, this is the second time he’s filed suit against the Pittsburgh CBS station and the parent company CBS for age discrimination and retaliation.

He accused his employer of fighting his worker’s compensation and retaliating again him by not renewing his contract.

Crawley collapsed while doing the story. He hasn’t been on air since August 2017.
