KSAZ anchor Rick D’Amico was on his way to work yesterday morning when he was hit by a wrong way driver.
According to the station D’Amico is fine. He should be back at work today.
The Phoenix fire department says the woman who hit him is in serious condition at a local hospital. She crossed the street’s divider and started driving into oncoming traffic when she hit D’Amico head-on.
Afterward, the woman’s car flipped and landed on the curb.
Police say they are looking into whether or not impairment was a factor in the crash.
