November Sweeps Ending in Photo Finishes

It’s fitting that the sweeps period that began on the heels of hotly contested local elections is ending with a ratings recount in Salt Lake City. KUTV, the #1 news station at 5 and 6pm, is disputing KSL’s apparent victory at 10pm.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, KUTV claims that it’s locked in a dead heat with KSL and is waiting for more complete numbers to come in. With that, here’s a round-up of other tight ratings races from around the country…
