After 13 years as news director of WXTV in New York, Norma Morato is out at the Univision-owned station. Media Moves has details:
One inside source says she has resigned. Another source says she was seen packing her belongings from her office last Friday signaling she was on her way out. Norma had led WXTV-41′s news department since 2001.
Morato began her career at WXTV in 1981. In 1983, she moved to WNJU, the Telemundo station in New York City, where she was the news director until she joined WCBS in 1986. She rejoined WXTV in 2000.
