Nora Reichardt to Join WQAD in Quad Cities

Nora Reichardt will join the digital team at Quad Cities ABC station WQAD.

Reichardt left WOI in Des Moines in July after working there for two years. She is the first openly transgender journalist in Iowa.

“I’ve been enjoying my brief step back from bringing Iowans the news of the day, but I’m feeling ready to get back into the action,” Reichardt wrote on social media. “I’m so excited to share that later this month, I’ll be joining the digital team @wqad in the Quad Cities!!”
