Nexstar Broadcasting says its showing the upcoming Louisiana Gubernatorial debate live in seven TV markets.
The debate takes place at 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Oct. 7 and will be moderated by Fred Childers and Fred Hickman from Baton Rouge NBC affiliate WVLA and Jacquie Jovic from Shreveport’s NBC affiliate KTAL.
The stations showing the debate are owned by Nexstar, Mission Broadcasting and Knight Broadcasting. New Orleans CW affiliate KNOL and Lake Charles Fox affiliate KVHP will also partner to air the debate.

The stations participating are: WVLA in Baton Rouge, KTAL in Shreveport, KTVE in Monroe, KLAF in Lafayette, WNTZ in Alexandria, KVHP in Lake Charles, WNOL in New Orleans.
