Nexstar Names New GM at KLAS

Lisa Howfield has been named general manager of Las Vegas CBS affiliate KLAS.

She replaces Emily Neilson who is retiring after 35 years at the station.

Howfield was the gm at KSNV in Las Vegas until April of this year. She started at the NBC affiliate as a marketing representative, before being named account executive, then general sales manager, then gm as well as president and COO of Intermountain West, which owned KSNV before Sinclair bought the station in 2014.
