New York ABC Station Mourns Loss of ‘Star Wars’ Actor

When New York ABC owned station WABC sent out an alert from its news app about Leonard Nimoy‘s death, it placed him in the wrong galaxy.

See the alert from a tipsters phone (right) that read, “BREAKING NEWS: Legendary ‘Star Wars’ actor Leonard Nimoy passes away at age 83.”

Nimoy played Spock in the original “Star Trek” TV Series and later went on to reprise the role throughout the generations of later Star Trek films.
