WAGA, the Fox-owned station in Atlanta, has named a replacement for Constance Jones, the Good Day Atlanta anchor who left the station in the Spring.
Sharon Lawson will join the morning show and co-anchor with Katie Beasley at 4:30am and with Buck Lanford at 5am and 8am, according to a release.
“We’re pleased to welcome Sharon to ‘Good Day Atlanta.’ Her warmth and enthusiasm will make her a great addition to our morning newscasts,” said Mike McClain.

Jones left the Atlanta station to move back to Florida. She was at Fox 5 Atlanta for less than a year.
