New Fox 5 D.C. Promo Takes a Shot at the Competition

WTTG wants the D.C. area to know it is launching a 4 p.m. show and it seems the station is trying to scare the competition at the same time.

A new promo, which recently aired across broadcast and digital channels, says, “Beginning on July 8, 4 will get owned by Fox 5.”

The competition is Channel 4 WRC, the NBC station in the market, which already has a 4 p.m. newscast.
