New Chairman of Florida Public Broadcasting

Richard M. Lobo was elected to a two-year term as chairman of the Florida Public Broadcasting Service Inc.

Lobo is president and chief executive officer of WEDU-TV Tampa/St. Petersburg. He previously was president and general manager of WTVJ in Miami, station manager for WNBC-TV in New York, and vice president and general manager of NBC stations in Chicago and Cleveland.

Lobo was previously vice chair of the FPBS board and has served as chair of its legislative affairs committee. More…
