Angie Grande has been named director of Streaming News Channels for NBCUniversal Local.

Grande will be responsible for overseeing the addition of more NBC and Telemundo streaming channels later this year to its Peacock streaming service. She returned to NBCUniversal Local after serving as executive producer of NBC News’ Stay Tuned Snapchat program. She worked at WNBC New York from 2010 until 2018.

Four NBC local news channels have already been added to Peacock: NBC Chicago News, NBC Philadelphia News, NBC Boston News and NBC South Florida News. Channels covering the New York and Los Angeles markets will be available on Peacock in the months ahead.

Telemundo owned stations will be launching their own local news streaming channels later this year to super serve Spanish dominant and bilingual local audiences in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico.
