NBC Owned Television Stations group says it has upgraded its news apps.
The apps give users the ability to read a news article while watching the video that goes to the story at the same time. The apps also have an interactive radar function allowing the user to track the path of an incoming storm. Users can also watch video from the app on a smart TV through the apps screencast function.
“We’re proud of what our team has created and are excited to see how our audiences use the new features we built for them,” said Lora LeSage, SVP of Digital Media for NBC Owned Stations.
