Dan Fabrizio has been named news director for Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV.
Fabrizio had been the news director at WAVE in Louisville since 2019.
WSMV general manager Jasmine Hardin said the station plans on producing more news and local content, and that Fabrizio brings “the exact experience and leadership” the station needs.

Fabrizio started his career as a reporter and moved into management as an assistant news director at WSYX in Columbus, Ohio. After that, he worked as news director at WCBD in Charleston, S.C., WLNE in Providence, R.I. and at WSAZ in Huntington, W.V.
