WNCT has moved up the start time of its morning news.
Maria Satira and meteorologist Dontae Jones will anchor WNCT 9 On Your Side Morning Edition starting at at 4:30 a.m. on the Greenville, N.C. CBS affiliate.
“Our viewers told us they wanted more news in the morning so we’ve expanded Morning Edition to help meet their needs,” said WNCT vp & gm John O. Lewis.

The station also said its weekend morning shows have expanded to 2 hours on both Saturday and Sunday.
