Mollie Lair is making a 47-market leap, leaving KFVS, Cape Girardeau’s CBS affiliate and joining WLWT, Cincinnati’s NBC station.
“Mollie’s journalistic integrity, determination, and commitment to the community made us realize instantly she would be a great addition to the WLWT News 5 team,” said WLWT news director Jeff Benscoter in a statement.
Lair spent four years as an anchor at KFVS. The move to WLWT is a return home.

“This is a homecoming for me,” Lair said. “I’m a Kentucky girl through and through. I’m very excited to do what I love in an area I love.”
