Minneapolis meteorologist Matt Brickman is saying hello to the Big Apple.
Brickman announced on Twitter he’ll be leaving WCCO and joining the NBC station in the No 1 market.
“After eight years, August 20th will be my last day on WCCO. I’ve accepted a job at WNBC in New York City. WCCO is a special place.”

Brickman posted a photo of him outside 30 Rock. It’s unclear which shows he will appear on at this time.
He joined the CBS station in Minneapolis in 2011.
