Mike Sugerman has said goodbye to San Francisco CBS-owned station KPIX.
He told viewers he was moving to New York to be closer to his son, who is having a grandchild.
“I’ve done, I figure, 10,000 stories over the last 37 years and they’ve all been very interesting,” Sugerman said in a farewell video posted to Facebook. “Well not all of them some of them kind of dull.”
“All the best to you Mike!” wrote his former colleague Rick Quan. “It was a pleasure working with you at KPIX. The Bay Area media won’t be the same without you and your unique style of story telling.
