Arlena Amaro will join Alex Hernandez, weather anchor Lilian Perez and sports anchor Johnathan Solarte on the KVDA 4:30, 5:00 and 10:00 p.m newscasts.
Amaro was a general assignment reporter and correspondent for Noticiero Univision, Edición Nocturna and Despierta América at WLTV Univision Miami. She has also worked at WGEN in Key West, Fla., America CV Network in Miami, and América TeVé in Miami. She started her career as an assistant producer for Noticiero Univision.
