Taylor Stephenson will join Macon, Georgia, CBS affiliate WMAZ as a weekend meteorologist as soon as she graduates from the University of Oklahoma.
“I’m excited to announce that I will be heading back to my home state!!,” Stephenson announced on LinkedIn. “I will be the newest, on-air weekend meteorologist at 13WMAZ in Macon, GA. I will be the first degreed Black meteorologist at this #1 station!🖤 Catch me in June living the dream🌟”
“We are pleased to welcome Taylor to our team,” WMAZ president and gm Jeff Dudley told TVSpy. “We know she is excited about the opportunity to provide weather information to the people in central Georgia.”
