A former meteorologist for Midland, Texas NBC affiliate KWES is suing the station, claiming in a lawsuit he was fired because of his age and health. Thomas Tefertiller, 46, left the station in May after 21 years.
The Odessa American reports Tefertiller’s suit was filed in Midland Federal Court Friday:
Tefertiller and attorney Adam Poncio of San Antonio claim officials with KWES-TV knew Tefertiller suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes, and was later diagnosed with anemia.
