Patrick Ellis is joining Memphis, Tenn., NBC affiliate WMC.
Ellis comes from Jackson, Miss., NBC affiliate WLBT where he is the morning meteorologist.
He announced the move on social media by showing a WMC branded picture of himself in Memphis saying “I guess it’s time to fess up.”

He started his career as an on-air meteorologist at WeatherVision while attending Mississippi State and also doing weekend weather at the ABC affiliate in Greenville, Miss. He’s also worked in Greenville and Wilmington, N.C.
