Meteorologist John Dissauer is leaving NBC affiliate KOAA in Colorado Springs for soon-to-be CBS affiliate WTTV in Indianapolis.
Dissauer announced the news on Facebook and Twitter on Friday, writing:
BREAKING NEWS: Excited to announce I will be the weekend evening meteorologist for the new CBS 4 in Indianapolis. Newscasts begin January 1. After 15 years away from the Hoosier state I’m moving back home.

Prior to joining KOAA, Dissauer worked as a digital marketing product analyst at Scottrade, and formed his own meteorological consulting company called Sky Strategies LLC. His last meteorologist position before KOAA was at Indianapolis FOX affiliate WXIN in 2011.
