Memphis Meteorologist Will Split Time Between Tennessee and Kansas City

He left WMC in 2017 and this week Memphis-based meteorogloist Andrew Kozak announced he’s taking a freelance job in Kansas City but staying in Tennessee for now.

“Excited and honored to be joining CBS in Kansas City as a freelance meteorologist in a few weeks! Extremely grateful to know some great people in this business that have offered me some awesome opportunities while I continue to look for the next full-time gig!” Kozak said in a post.

Since leaving the NBC affiliate, Kozak has freelanced for Gateway Media in Little Rock, Ark., done PR and radio work.

Kozak has worked in Tulsa, Okla., and Wichita, Kan. He started at WMC-TV in 2014.
