Megan Rivers has joined Baltimore NBC affiliate WBAL as a morning live desk anchor.
Rivers comes from Washington, D.C. station WUSA where she was a reporter and mmj.
“This is prudence. Happy first day to me as the Live Desk Anchor at WBAL,” she wrote on Twitter. “#Baltimore, I’m going to work hard for you.”

Rivers has also worked as a traffic anchor and reporter for WTAT in Charleston, S.C.
The station also announced the news on its Facebook page by saying, “Please help us share a warm Baltimore welcome to Megan Rivers, who joins the 11 News TODAY family!!”
