The LiveU SmartGRIP is already being used by an Australian station. According to Mashable, “Sky News — a sister station to Sky News UK — will be rolling out 12 units to video journalists across Australia, Greg Byrnes, channel manager of Sky News Live, told Mashable Australia in an email. He said a number of their journalists are already using the device in the field.”
So far, Sky New’s video journalists have apparently embraced the SmartGrip. “It’s compact, reliable and connects in a matter of seconds,” he said. “Our VJ’s have always been quick to adopt new technology.”

Cleveland CBS affiliate WOIO used LiveU’s live streaming tech during the NBA Finals to give viewers an insider look at the game.
WOIO used LiveU’s LU200 units during the NBA Finals for live game day coverage to “walk around the entire Quicken Loans Arena to constantly interview different fans (for home games) and also give news updates on the game for their different shows throughout the day.”
