Media General has agreed to air NBC Owned Stations’ classic TV channel COZI TV in four markets starting June 1.
“We are so excited to extend our viewership to these four fantastic markets,” said Meredith McGinn, SVP of the COZI TV Network. “We know the viewers are going to really enjoy our comfortable and familiar programming, with iconic shows like Murder, She Wrote, Miami Vice and Charlie’s Angels, we invite them to cozy up on the couch while we reintroduce them to some of their all-time favorites.”
The four local stations airing COZI on their multicast channels are WTTA in Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla., KXAN in Austin, Texas, KASA in Albuquerque, N.M., and WXSP in Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek, Mich.
According to the press release, “COZI TV now has 79 affiliates, serving nearly 84 million homes, in 74 percent of the country, including nine of the top 10 U.S. television markets.”
