KTTV weather anchor Maria Quiban says she’s taking a few weeks off from the Los Angeles Fox-owned station.
She told viewers on this morning’s broadcast her husband was diagnosed with inoperable glioblastoma over a year ago. She says she’s taking time off to spend more time with him and their son and she said she’d be back. She’s not quitting.
The KTTV anchors wear wrist bands in support of her husband. Quiban also urged viewers to check out www.neurooncology.ucla.edu to donate or learn more about her husband’s disease.
