Marcy Lefkovitz Named VP Technology and Workflow Strategy at ABC

lefkovitz abcMarcy Lefkovitz has been named VP of Technology and Workflow Strategy for ABC Broadcast Operations and Engineering.

“Our new Technology and Workflow Strategy group will reinvigorate BO&E’s effort to identify and acquire the most promising new technologies and integrate them strategically across the ABC Television Network,” Todd Donovan, SVP of ABC’s Broadcast and Engineering said in a statement. “Marcy’s vast expertise as an editor and producer at ABC News make her the perfect choice to head this new unit.”

Lefkovitz was promoted from her previous position as director of news production for ABC News. She has worked at ABC for 20 years. In 1987, she got her first job with ABC, working as a researcher in the Political Unit assigned to the 1988 Presidential Election. She left ABC after the election to work as an independent documentary producer for Bolthead Communications, Globalvision and OMI, returning to ABC in 1994 as an editor.
