Manuel Smith has been named managing editor for KYW in Philadelphia.
According to his LinkedIn bio, Smith started working as an assignment editor at NBC news New York/Northeast Bureau in August. Before that he’d been the assignment editor at NBC-owned WCAU in Philadelphia since 2016. He’s been president of the Philadelphia Association of black Journalists since last January.
