Man Tells WJLA Crew ‘I’ve Been Shot’

By Kevin Eck

WJLA photographer Mike Vaughn and reporter Kevin Lewis were covering a stabbing at a D.C. bus stop yesterday when a man walked up and said “I’ve been shot.”

The Washington, D.C. ABC affiliate says the man, who had been shot in his right arm, asked for water. The two helped the guy sit down. Police were already on their way to the scene because a shot spotter detected four shots in the area. Police say the man was conscious and breathing.
