Mallory Anderson to Join WISN Milwaukee as Morning Anchor

Mallory Anderson is joining Milwaukee ABC affiliate WISN as live desk anchor for the weekday morning newscasts.

Anderson comes from KRDO in Colorado Springs, where she’s worked as a reporter and anchor since October 2021.

“As a Midwest native, Mallory’s hardwired with a strong work ethic and an intrinsic understanding of what is truly important to viewers,” said Jan Wade, president and general manager of WISN. “She’s an award-winning journalist in her own right, with a passion for asking tough questions and getting answers for viewers. She will fit right in with other members of the 12 News Team.”

“With loved ones in Wisconsin, and growing up in Michigan, I’m so thankful to be closer to family by working in the Midwest again,” said Anderson. “For years I’ve told friends that Milwaukee is a city I’ve been striving to get to, and I’m grateful that time has finally arrived. I’m ready to hit the ground running with the best news team in Milwaukee!”

Starting November 15, she’ll co-anchor alongside Diana Gutiérrez and Gerron Jordan, meteorologist Lindsey Slater and News Chopper 12 reporter Matt Salemme.

Before working at KRDO, Anderson worked at WILX in Lansing, Mich. She started her career at at WLUC in Marquette, Mich.
